Blizzard announced their proposed changes to the multiplayer mode in Dreamhack last weekend. I took some time to digest the content, and I think it says a lot what Blizzard want to do. There are several things I disagree with on the problem identification stage.
There were quite a number of mech games in TvT recently. While this is a reason to celebrate if you love mech, you shouldn’t get too optimistic just yet.
Recently, sky Terran has been used in top level TvZ games. While sky Terran is not a new composition, it is rare to see it being used as the core composition instead of a late game transition.
The build that I’m discussing is at least one month old since its first notable match in IEM Toronto between Flash and Taeja. Since then, I have seen INnoVation used it in GSL against Cure, and ForGG also used it against MMA.
