Reactor Hellion into Banshee against Zerg in 1.4.3.2 patch
It is common to open with one barrack expand without taking gas against Zerg.
The standard metagame before and after the 1.4.3.2 patch is reactor hellion after getting a quick command centre. This opening branches out to various of strategies. There was a period of time when cloaked banshee is the popular follow up. However, after the 1.4.3.2 patch, this may change.

TvP late game phenomenon: an empirical perspective
TvP is arguably the most frequently discussed match up in the current metagame. At a point, it was said that the match up is imbalance and favors Protoss. The current understanding is that Protoss has an advantage in the late game, while Terran has to leverage their strength in the early and mid game.
