The 2013/14 is coming to an end after Proleague has concluded and with WCS Season 3 moving on to the knockout stage. There are signs of expansion in the competitive scene for the next season. However, there are still a few important questions remain.

Flash played several TvP games in recent tournaments. He won PartinG in Proleague Grand Final, Dear, Classic, herO and Pigbaby in the IEM Toronto qualifier. He made some interesting minor changes on top of the standard TvP play.
The newest patch revolutionalised the TvZ metagame. Well, at least the early to mid game. Despite the patch is still new, there are enough pro-level games for us to have an overview of how the new patch affects the match up.
I discussed about INnoVation’s approach to the new Hellbat buff in the last post and now I will discuss about MarineKing’s in this post.
There is prominent trend that Terran favor upgrade in their macro oriented builds for TvP. 6/7 of the TvP match ups that use a Reaper opening (any variation) opt for early upgrade (except Flash vs. Sora). This is no coincidence.
