The “Release the Gracken” incident has shocked the Starcraft community. In this post, I’m not going to state the what, when, why, how of this incident as this is more publicised than my blog for sure. IdrA actually gets me to do a short self-evaluation.

It seems to me that Blizzard has no intention to make an official WCS website, which serves as a central platform for all information regarding WCS. The community has to pick up the slack.
I was typing a long chunk of words about when and what to scout for while I was preparing for the last post (TvZ: Reaper Opening into 3CC). In the end, I removed it as the content deserves a post of its own and is too “general” for a specific build order. So here it is.
Mass Reaper opening was the go-to-build when Heart of the Swarm was just released, until other builds got more popular. Now, two barracks Reaper have become a “10 pool build”, and I will explain why.
