It has been a week since the release of the new patch. I have played and watched some games. Here is what I expect.

Banshee Openings in TvZ Metagame
Hellions and Banshees were the key early game units in TvZ for a long period of time in Wings of Liberty, but this composition was almost inexistent in Heart of the Swarm. Interestingly, there has been a resurgence of Banshee openings in TvZ for the past two to three weeks.

MMA outshined his WCS EU Finals Day 1 performance on Day 2. I am extremely impressed by his openings and details. His style is refreshing since I’m getting bored with INnoVation’s TvZ.

Review: MMA vs. Nerchio (WCS EU 2013 Season 3 Ro8)
With the win over Nerchio yesterday, MMA is almost certain to make it to Blizzcon 2013. MMA did live up to the “Terran hope” title by showing great execution and innovation. Game 1 and 3 are worthy of a post here.

Bomber’s Counter Intuitive TvZ
Bomber does not come to one’s mind as one of the best TvZ players in the world. Although he may have a decent shout based on his recent victories over Jaedong and Scarlett at the WCS Season 2 Final, I still rate INnoVation as the undisputed number one TvZ player now. However, if you compare Bomber’s TvZ games with INnoVation’s, they adopt very different style. If INnoVation’s TvZ is the textbook style, then Bomber’s is definitely unorthodox.
TerranCraft
