This is the April 2020 entry of Metagame Build Orders.

@100 mineral – Supply Depot
@100% Reaper – Marine
@100 gas – Factory
Build
@75 mineral – Refinery
@100% Marine – Reactor
@100 mineral – Bunker
@100% Factory – Starport and Tech Lab
@100% Reactor – 2x Marine (continuous production)
34 – Supply Depot
Build Supply Depot accordingly hereafter
@100% Starport – Swap Starport onto Tech Lab for Banshee and Cloak research, build another Tech Lab with Factory
@100% Tech Lab – Siege Tank
@100% Banshee – Banshee
@100% Siege Tank – Siege Tank
@400 mineral – Command Centre
Transition
@300 mineral – 2x Barracks
@150 mineral – 2x Refinery
@250 mineral – 2x Engineering Bay
Swap Barracks onto Tech Labs for Stim and Combat Shield. You can alternatively keep producing Siege Tanks.
Taking the third Command Centre after 1-1-1 is popular now. You can read this article to learn more about this trend. There is no fixed build for this earlier third Command Centre style. I chose this build order because it is quite different to the standard 3-1-1 options.
In terms of execution, you should not treat this like an early 1-1-1 push with Marines, Tanks, and Banshees. A good way to execute it is to attack Probes with Banshee and force Stalkers to move to the natural or main. At the same time, you attack with Marines and Siege Tanks at the third. The key is not to “attack”, but you want to pull opponent out of position. Then, you deal damage where it is weakest.

@100% 2x Reaper – 2x Reaper
@400 mineral – Command Centre
Transition
@100% Hellion and Medivac – 2x Tech Lab
@100% 2x Reaper – 2x Marine
This is the build order I discussed in an earlier article.
This build is an alternative to the common build orders using the double Refinery Reaper expand opening. This should be used as a reaction against opponent’s mirror opening, so I don’t recommend you to use this blindly. TvT is a match up that does not rely on builds too much, as it relies a lot on counter and adapt based on each other’s openings.

Landed Barracks – Tech Lab
@100% Banshee – Banshee
@100% Tech Lab – Stim
@100% 4th pair of Hellions – Lift Factory to build a Reactor; 2x Barracks; 2x Engineering Bay, 2x Refinery (in this sequence)
This is one of the most commonly used builds in TvZ now. The build order starts with a 16 Refinery Reaper expand that gets two Marines for Overlord hunting. I had discussed about this extensively in my last article. Next, the build moves to a standard Reactor Hellions and Cloak Banshee composition with 1-1-1. Banshee is popular now, as Roaches and Ravagers become more common. If you don’t like lifting your Barracks to hunt the Overlord, you can simply use a standard opening with Hellions and Banshees.
Shout out to Jensiii (Code-S patron) and Wolf (Bonjwa patron) for their support.

” You can don’t go for the Overlord hunt and simply use a standard opening with Hellions and Banshees.” Little typo perhaps :)
Edited to make it clearer.
Thank you Max !
Thank you for another article. I keep coming everyday hungry for more content from you.
Thank you for the article!It seems that the new TVZ build is quite popular among both pros and ladder players recently. And here’s the link of translation.

That’s fast. Thanks for translating.
Hello max, “@100% mineral – Supply Depot” a little typo in the TvT build (3rd line after “Build”).
Thank you for your work and articles !
Thanks, fixed that.
How would you transition the cloak banshee TVZ build into mech?
Build 2 Factories instead of 2 Barracks. Take the 3rd and 4th gas after that.
