At last, the details of Heart of the Swarm Launch Event are released. The events will be held worldwide in Australia, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, France, Russia, United States, Brazil and Mexico on 11 March 2013.
Versailles – Palais des Congrès de Versailles
I’m in Singapore on 11 March 2013 to attend the launch event.
Unlike other countries, there will not be any celebrities in the Singapore launch event. South Korea has a star line up of Flash, Bisu, JaeDong, Mvp, Creator and Life. Basically, two players of each race who present KeSPA and eSF respectively. There is no possible argument in regards to KeSPA choice since they are the best of each race for BroodWar. At first glance, Creator and Life are not as iconic as MC and Nestea, but the latter two are actually attending the launch event elsewhere. MC will be in United State, while Nestea will be in Taiwan (surprised). Both United States (Polt, MC, Suppy & ViBE) and France (Stephano, Grubby, White-Ra & LucifroN) also have a high profile line up. Apart from players, community figures like, Tastosis, Day 9, Wolf, Khaldor etc. will be hosting the events around the globe. Blizzard also flew their staffs around the world to attend the launch events. Notably, Dustin Browder will be in Australia and David Kim will be in France. I bet Zerg players will be whining to David Kim with their banners on 11 March 2013.
